Edelweiss was an Austrian Electronica/Dance band. The act consisted of remixers Martin Gletschermayer, Walter Werzowa and Matthias Schweger.
The band used a lot of humour and sexually suggestive lyrics in its music. The humour was targeted at Austrian ski resorts and yodeling. Part of the melody of Bring me Edelweiss was taken from ABBA's SOS. Also, two melody lines are borrowed from Indeep's "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life."
